What We Teach

We offer hands-on training for three waste-to-resource systems developed by us called Organic Transformers.

Barrel Digester - Converts food-waste to liquid manure & cooking gas
BSF Bins - Converts food-waste to BSF larvae & liquid manure
Bamboo Hydroponics - Grows vegetables & fruits in-house

1. Barrel Digester

Participants learn to build simple, low-cost biogas digesters using components that are easily available in the open market. These systems are best suited for users primarily interested in organic manure, with gas as a useful by-product.

What you will learn

The science behind anaerobic digestion
How to build, install, operate, and maintain a DIY digester
Feeding practices, common mistakes, and troubleshooting

What to expect

DIY systems are functional, economical, and proven
Built mainly using barrels and basic PVC components to keep costs low

Typical Inputs to a DIY Digester

Easily Digestible Food-waste
Bones, egg shells, peels of onion, organge etc. can not be fed. They may be fed to a BSF Box.

Typical Inputs from a DIY Digester

Organic manure suitable for growing vegetables & fruits
A modest quantity of biogas, usually enough to run a single-burner stove for about one hour per day

2. BSF Bins (Black Soldier Fly Bins )

We also provide training to build BSF Bins developed by us. Unlike biogas digesters, BSF systems can handle all types of wet food waste, including: Bones, Egg shells, Onion and citrus peels, Cooked and mixed food waste

Or opt for fully built BSF bins

Almost everything in food-waste including bones, egg shells, all types of vegetable & fruit peels.

BSF larvae, a protein-rich feed for poultry and fish
Liquid Organic Manure for growing vegetables & fruits.

3. Bamboo Based Hybrid Systems (Bamboonics)

We also offer training on bamboo based systems for growing organic vegetables & fruits developed by us.

Why bamboo hydroponics?

Avoid regular purchase of chemical nutrients
Uses organic liquid manure produced in-house
Uses bamboo instead of PVC

Basics of hydroponics and aeroponics & hybrids
Building bamboo-based hybrid systems
Using organic manure as nutrient input
